Not sure where I'm ending up with the cohost exodus but some people are heading here and I might want to be here too.

Edit, a day later: I think I'm not going to start being active anywhere else until things are really over, but I am curious who chooses dreamwidth as their destination and I will be checking in here regularly.

Thank you :) I think a lot of us are dedicating our social energy into being present on cohost until the end but I'm sure we'll start (re-)building our connections here starting in October.

I've seen a range. Some folks are riding it to the end. Many are concentrating on various ways of copying or archiving material on Cohost before it shuts down. Some are already setting up on new platforms, including DW.

I do expect another surge then, and likely one in January after the site disappears at the end of December. Conveniently January is the snowflake_challenge so that will help get the latter wave connected quickly.

Thank you! :D Today was exciting: I saw a flock of bluejays while I was out yardening. I saw at least 4 together and there were probably more. They're such pretty birds.

I'm hoping that more folks will start posting on birdfeeding as the birdfeeders go up in fall. Most of the time it's just me.
